Aston Villa have named Steven Gerrard as director on a three-and-a-half-year bargain, finishing his three-year rule at Rangers.
The previous Liverpool commander, 41, leaves the Scottish heroes having directed them to a first association title in quite a while last season.
Gerrard replaces Dean Smith, who was sacked on Sunday after a run of five progressive losses.
Manor are sixteenth in the Premier League, two focuses over the transfer zone.
"Aston Villa is a club with a rich history and custom in English football and I am gigantically glad to turn into its new lead trainer," said Gerrard.
"In my discussions with [co-owners] Nassef [Sawiris], Wes [Edens] and the remainder of the board, it was obvious how eager their arrangements are for the club and I am anticipating assisting them with accomplishing their points."
